Directions
In a skillet on med/high heat add in bacon grease and corn meal mix. Whisk together till browned (makes it so good). (1/4 c self-rising corn meal mix, 3-4 tbs bacon grease)
Add salt and pepper to taste. (Salt and pepper to taste)
Add milk, whisk constantly. Reduce heat and continue stirring till it starts to thicken and its smooth. If too thick, add more milk. Gravy will thicken as it cools. (2 c whole milk)

Great over cornbread and fried taters. I like it over wilted lettuce too, and of course, it’s good over biscuits!
